TRIVIA >> The Mercury spacecrafts all feature the number “7″ in their name. All of the missions were flown by Original 7 astronauts, who each named their capsules and added the “7″ to symbolise the teamwork of the seven astronauts.

TRIVIA >> Alan B Shepard was the only Original 7 astronaut to land on the moon (with Apollo 14). He commanded the mission only having spent fifteen minutes in space on his Mercury flight, Freedom 7.
